Tad Carpenter is an illustrator, designer and teacher living in sunny, snowy and forever changing Kansas City, Missouri.

Tad has illustrated and designed several children's books, spot illustrations and national campaigns in the current market place. He has been featured in Communication Arts, Print, How, Graphis, Grain Edit, Drawn!, Grain Edit, Illustration Mundo and dozens of publications in regards to design and illustration. Tad also teaches graphic design and illustration at the University of Kansas. Rock, Chalk.

Carpenter along with my good friend Dan Padavic joined forces in 2006 to create the screen printing studio Vahalla Studios. A place that specialize in silkscreen goods specifically gig posters, invites, and other silkscreen goods. Vahalla Studios has done work for Myspace, Rayban, Polo, John Mayer, The Shins, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Dashboard Confessional and Neil Young to name a few.
