Austin City Limits has an amazing tradtion and history of putting on a top notch festival and event. I was thrilled when ACL called and wanted me to create an illustration to be used on a poster, ipod cases and several other event matierals. I tried to keep the concept of the illustration pretty focused on what really makes this event special: Austin. You can see various Austin landmarks in the piece like the state capital, 360 bridge, UT tower, bikes, boots and even bats that fly around the 360 bridge. Hope Austin likes the piece.
