Had so much fun drawing and creating this piece for a show at Gallery 1988. The gallery asked artist to create a piece in honor of of the late great John Hughes. I love John Candy so much so had to go with the Great Outdoors. So I made a plush of John Candy, the lamp riffle and Big Bear, Big Big Bear. This was a serious group effort. My dad helped me get Candy's expression right, my Vahalla partner Dan Screen printed my illustration on fabric, Dan's fiancee Mel cut each one out and my Mom sewed each print into a plush.
